Life is amazingPosted on September 24, 2010 with 0 comments
Judy Whiting, producer extraordinaire, was such a star. The one I called True Rose of Nashville. When I met her, she was a beacon of light in my world of grey. I had just learned that I had Parkinson and was just trying to survive. She recorded my debut album, putting me first, the man with a mix tape mailed across the ocean, above her own health.
When all was said and done, Judy was no longer with us, and I had Summertime.
I miss her. I miss showing her where I am now, thanks to her. Life happens for a reason, that much I know. Somehow, through all these trials and thanks to my faith in things I don't understand, but believe in, I made it. If you have a dream, be prepared to give it all you have, all that you are. There will be strife and despair, loneliness and sorrow.
But in the end, there will be light.
